Today we received our list of tentative hotels for our trip. I posted the links to the right so you can check them out. Since we have never traveled to Amsterdam or Bruges before, I can only go by pictures and by their ratings on Trip Advisor. Both received 4 out of 5 star ratings and guests had many wonderful things to say about the hotels.
The hotel listed for Paris (Ibis Styles Paris Bercy) is a hotel at which we have stayed on previous trips. It is very nice and located a block from the Bercy Métro. There are also several ATM machines close by as well as a couple of cafés. And - most importantly according to my husband - they offer yummy breakfasts there.
We are also right next to the Bercy Arena, which is a sports complex and concert venue, not to mention and interesting looking building. It is currently being renovated and won't reopen until the fall, but we can still admire the arena every day when we walk to/from the Métro to our hotel.

Enjoy perusing the hotels - it's definitely something to get you more excited for the trip (as if you need more reasons, right?!) Remember, the hotels are tentative and could possibly change, but if they do, they will be comparable to these. Passports will finalize things within the month, and before long, I will have our flight information, as well! Until then, au revoir!
