...is finally here! Tomorrow morning, we leave Central PA and make our way to the Big Apple so we can board a plane and begin the adventure of a lifetime! I have been obsessively checking the weather, and it seems like the earlier predictions for Amsterdam and Bruges have stayed the same - here things are in a little more detail for you (date: low/high in degrees F and brief description):
Amsterdam
- Tuesday, 21 July: 61/71 mostly sunny
- Wednesday, 22 July: 60/71 mostly sunny
- Thursday, 23 July: 56/68 mostly sunny
- Friday, 24 July: 52/70 cloudy, light p.m. rain
- Saturday, 25 July: 58/79 mostly sunny
- Sunday, 26 July: 58/82 mostly sunny (Versailles day - perfect weather!)
- Monday, 27 July: 60/78 mostly sunny
- Tuesday, 28 July: 57/74 mostly sunny
- Wednesday, 29 July: 53/77 mostly sunny
- Thursday, 30 July: 57/80 cloudy with morning showers (Paris will be crying because it knows we're leaving!)
Of course Mother Nature can be temperamental, so still bring an umbrella and/or rain jacket. And if you get chilly easily, you will definitely want a sweater in the mornings & evenings.
Also, don't forget that because we eat later in the day and are out burning lots of calories, you might want to bring along some snack foods (granola bars, crackers, etc.) that are easy to keep in your pocket or purse.
