Yes, Size Matters

Hello fellow travelers! I have had several emails from parents and students alike asking about the luggage dimensions. Since our meeting was way back in April, I thought it might be prudent to post the requirements for those of us who don't have said dimensions committed to memory.

Carry-ons cannot be larger than 21"x13"x9" and weigh no more than 25 lbs. Plan to keep your valuables, medicines (in their original boxes/containers and in a clear Ziploc baggie), and electronics in a carry-on, as well as travel-sized toiletries (liquids may be no more than 3.4 oz) and a change of clothes. DO NOT pack razors, nail clippers, metal nail files (does anyone even use those?!) or any other sharp objects in your carry-on or they will make you toss it in the can. In addition to your carry-on, you may take ONE of the following: purse/murse, camera bag, laptop bag.

If you're worried, don't forget that we will have a luggage scale and will weigh your suitcase before we throw it under the bus (as in the luggage compartment, not on the ground) and are on our merry way.

If you have not already bought a converter, you need a Type C. I was at Target today and they had several there (although I did not take note of the price - sorry!) Also, if your parents did not yet contact your bank/credit card company PLEASE do so first thing tomorrow or Monday morning to let them know where we will be so they do not freeze your card because they think they've nabbed an identity thief!

Alright! I will probably post once more before we leave, so check back soon!
